It is not the way that we conform to a standard of being, but it is our courage to be different and to be proud of who we are as individuals. Being comfortable in your own skin and being able to express yourself can be a challenge, especially in young people. Find strength in your differences, allow yourself to step out and learn to embrace your unique qualities and just maybe, you will find yourself being extraordinary! Though we all greet the same challenges, this text was written specifically with the young ladies of the ACDA Festival, “Sweet Soundsations” in mind. Each and every one of you is beautiful, and extraordinary! Be proud of who you are and walk boldly each and every day!
