Eclipse SATB – Beth Darowish – Digital Download

Imagine a conversation between the moon and the sun during an eclipse.  The text came organically, after witnessing the total eclipse in 2024.  Beth drew from her own children and motherhood for inspiration.  She uses creative imagery as she draws you into the metaphoric themes of motherhood, raising children, watching them grow as they begin to let their own light shine.  She states in her notes, “Like the sun, we are forever there for our children, and every once in a while, our lives align, we work our way through phases of life, and for a moment we feel syzygy.”  Featuring a children’s choir or small group, Eclipse will be a beautiful addition to any program.
